If you're the kind of masochist that likes painfully emotionless music, then sure.

Decent review. You flesh out your arguments pretty well but you just need to work on choosing your words correctly and punctuation that's all. You'll get better as you review more and more.

well-known mainstream metalcore bands known to America, and possibly the world.

Wow, according to who, the Pope?

they’ve been making music that has been well…ehh.

Use words, this sentence is... ehh.

*cough* The Crusade *cough*.

*The Crusade comes to mind." - - Again, use words.

It’s nothing really new from what Trivium has to offer really. It’s just Trivium doing what they do best…kind of.

You're really making sense. ; ]

The album starts off with “Brave This Storm,” which in theory; is basic Trivium music.

Trivium music on a Trivium album, how bizarre?

All of this in the first few sentences, I don't have the time in a day to keep reading this.

These guys make me laugh. A lot of their best songs are their B-sides. And like with The Crusade, the B-sides shit on the actual album(well one of them in this case). As I Am Exploding is one Trivium's better songs, having way more energy and memorable melodies than the rest of the albums' collection of formulaic reprises.

These guys had so potential and now it seems they're squandering it on boring crap like this.

Those vocals makes me laugh. They literally lack any type of emotion at all.

Where there's David Draimam, there's s**t music. Every time. I really hope Trivium don't make this mistake again

I like this more than In Waves. This sounds surprisingly decent.

In Waves just felt like an attempt to get back their Ember to Inferno/Ascendancy audience, while keeping the fans of The Crusade/Shogun. Overall, it was decent, but it was kinda half-assed, in my opinion. If this is them just going even further in the more accessible reaches of that sound, color me uninterested.

Sad. The band does have a lot of talent. It just seems they decide not to use it anymore. But I guess it at least gets them a paycheck at the end of the day.

I actually use to enjoy their first couple of records back in the day but this was an exercise in mundanity, could this band of become anymore boring?

Shogun is their best and I still thoroughly enjoy it, but this is pitiful by their standards

Ascendancy is the only thing I really like by these guys. Never enjoyed much else by them.
