Just decided to give this album a whirl randomly yesterday. Much better than I expected - I didn't really have any expectations since I felt the previous album was mostly treading water. It's nice to hear a guy like Mark Tremonti continuing to find new inspiration from a songwriting point of view this far into his career.

It's early for me to call but I would tend to agree. It doesn't quite reach the height that Blackbird does with its title track, but overall it feels like a much more consistent and inspired effort.
