I cringe at the way he screams the title of every song randomly while playing them. Like "And justice fooor aaaall" just before the solo. Why? :/
|
| |
Because that's Metallica of the 21st century. Unfortunately...
|
| |
Can you imagine playing the same songs for 30+ years?

"Surprisingly sold." But. Big but here... Metallica is unquestionably one of the best bands of our time, if only for bridging the gap between metal music and the mainstream. This band has endeavored to stay relevant, even after metal music has evolved into what it is today.

^ Well, not really as relevant today, no. Sure, their old works are still relevant within the metal
and overall rock community, but their newer works are largely bashed or ignored by many fans today.
So in conclusion: yeah, this was surprisingly solid considering what I was expecting.

Yeah, it's kinda sad. With that said, it's actually still pretty good when considering his age

Not bad for a talking table.

This album probably blows. Why would you even listen to it?

The film was pretty good as well. It's well worth paying to see in IMAX just for the pristine sound quality. You got to wonder why they couldn't produce Death Magnetic in this quality.

I wish they would play some of otherwise "unknown" songs

Yeah, it's one of my favorites by them too. I like the more progressive sound to it
