Tuna, start with this and Lightbulb Sun. Then, choose whether you
wish to go backwards for the psychier/more complex stuff, or forward
for the more alt-rock type stuff.

It's tough to say where you should start. If you love heavier and darker stuff start with In Absentia, if you love more accessible stuff start with Stupid Dream, if you love trippy psychier stuff start with Up The Downstair or Signify. Their discography is very diverse so it's all a matter of the style you love more.

Same, that's why it took me about 5 years before I realised this band actually made some music I like.

i always recommend starting with songs. you don't want to commit to a full album. it could have disastrous results. i'd say start with a couple songs and then go to albums from there.

check out trains, lazarus, even less, shesmovedon, way out of here, waiting (part 1 and 2), i drive the hearse.

^ those are just off the top of my head. others will have other songs to rec

Try .3, heartattack in a layby, burning sky, don't hate me, Russia on ice, waiting, the blind house, piano lessons, arriving somewhere but not here. All different songs from different albums so see what you think.

I appreciate the advice. Just checking out a few songs now, seems awesome.

Anesthetize and Trains are fantastic.
