This is closer to Discovery than beacons. The layered melodies, the droning, the repetition. It's far less erratic and more focused on the melody. Plus the second song almost reprises Dysphoria.



I would argue this is closer to Fade, or even Let Yourself be Huge than Beacons.

That's the issue with Cloudkicker. Loads of great albums but I don't think he's reached his full potential yet.

vocals at the end were a pleasant surprise the first time i heard it. adds a very beautiful touch to the track
