The facebook fan group I joined showed me how many conservative ridiculous fans he has. It's nonsensical too because PT has always had plenty of poppier elements across all their albums, and To The Bone isn't that drastic of a departure.

Title track is so underappreciated, such a beautifully sad and sentimental piece of music.

I gave it a shoutout at the top of this page, but yea it is underappreciated. It's my 2nd favorite on here after Arriving, or maybe tied for 2nd with Glass Arm.

I mean obviously Arriving is the king of the album but t/t is probs the queen

Halo is one of the best songs on this and the 2015 remake by Gavin Harisson is even more groovy.

That metal riff in the middle of Halo's badass, especially when Adrian joins in with his solo

The shalala-ending of Glass Arm Shattering makes me cringe but otherwise this is a great album and Arriving Somewhere is one of their best songs but overall there are too many lacking moments for Deadwing to be considered one of their very best albums

Glass Arm Shattering is amazing, don't remember anything annoying about the ending. I definitely remember the a capella layering outro of Mellotron Scratch, maybe that's what he meant.

Nah the the whole ending of Mellotron Scratch is one of the best moments on the album. My criticism against Glass Arm Shattering is purely based on the shalala chanting that starts at 3:53. I think that part is annoying as hell not because the music isn't great or not well constructed or anything but the shalala just kills me.

You might actually be right but I think I like the bluesy solo in Arriving a bit more

In Absentia, TSMS, and Stupid Dream are their 3 best imo. This and Signify added for the top 5.
