Yeah WtF is definetly not Shadow's best, I've always thought his nasally Axl Rose type voice on City of Evil was pretty annyoing at times though.

His singing on waking the fallen is terrific I don't know what yall are talking about.

I never personally minded his vokes on CoE, but that might be because I first heard Bat Country when I was 7 and that probably triggered a lot of my interest in metal to begin with

I like his singing on the whole on WTF but relisten to the album and tell me those background high vocals aren't hilarious? They are at least 'unique'.

thought he was alright on wtf too but that is the best mostly for the song compositions and instrumentation

his vocals were sweet on WTF. he fucked his voice up pretty bad from bad technique and has sounded shit ever since

shadows live can be great, but his singing on coe is abysmal.



its still my favorite a7x album tho. syn and zackys guitar harmonies were what made the band for me. and they shine there. it would be one of my favorite modern metal albums if not for his singing. and its still be a hell of an album.

Radiant Eclipse and Remenissions would be in my top 5 for this band.
