You're welcome, I guess.

Honestly, it takes some balls to write an extremely positive review for an album generally considered to be shit so I commend you for that. Only thing really wrong with this review is the constant misuse of commas.

"A lot bought it, as it broke to #6 in the American billboard 200, the first week it was released."

Fix all the comma issues and I'll pos.

This album is really a sub-par rock album. Probably should be a 2, but I just feel it gets hit all the harder by the fact that Megadeth has shown on many occasions to be capable of so much better than this.

"I always artistically respected Metallica more than Megadeth. They were the pioneers, they opened
the doors for thousands metal bands and Dave just followed."

Contrary to popular belief, Dave also helped open that door you speak of. He was the genius behind
much of Kill'em all. He even received writing credits on Ride the Lightening. I think Dave did much
more than just follow Metallica. He was there for the beginning of the thrash movement just as much
as the rest of the guys from early Metallica were. And he wrote material just as good if not better
than Metallica at the height of the thrash movement. When Metallica sold out in the early 90's,
Megadeth had the integrity to still pump out albums such as Rust In Peace and Countdown to
Extinction.

Risk is indeed a good and diverse album, but this is closer to my taste and sounds like modern metal when Risk sounded like modern rock

At last a Metallica/Megadeth remark!!
Yeah this is way i said MEtallica and Megadeth and did not refer specifically to names.
Dave has been recognized as a part of the Metallica legacy. But i must stand on that Megadeth were followers and not leaders.

The difference is that when you say "sold out" about Metallica in the nineties i say "opened a lot of doors"

In the 90's, they didn't open doors, they merely passed through doors left open by bands that already did that sound long before them.

Metallica tried to sound a bit too "alternative metal" in the 90's. It was like they were trying to copy the popular style of the time. And when that wasn't cool anymore, we got St. Anger...
