best part of zlida is all that whoosing and whamming, it's like the soundtrack to a big fucking thunderstorm that lasts for days.

god I wish we had those.

Agreed. Reminds me of this class trip when we went to Thuringia once and we were playing some kind of drinking game in a field outside the city when a thunderstorm started and we were like "yeah, shit's prolly gonna be gone in like 5 minutes" and then it lasted for the next 8 hours.

It was awesome.

Snagged a rare copy of the Hubardo Japanese import CD. Have you guys seen the alternate artwork? I much prefer it, : http://metalitalia.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/kayo-dot-hubardo-2013-570x570.jpg

That sounds kinda stupid and I'm not buying it.

"'The sound is kind of like a sexy combination of Type O Negative, Peter Gabriel, Sisters of Mercy,' Driver says. But the track also encompasses the brooding menace of classic Bauhaus as well as current dark wavers Cold Cave and Crystal Stilts: artists young and old who live and die in those unknowable corners where heaviness meets delicacy and sincerity meets theatricality."

oh babey
