I always read what a great band Death was but I had never listened to any of their albums mainly because I'm not into death metal. Today I decided to give this band a chance and I started from this album. I have to say that I'm amazed by the musicianship of these guys.



Technically, this is a great album and the riffs are just amazing. I'm also surprised by the vocal ability of their singer throughout the album but also on the cover of Painkiller. I'll give this band another chance probably with Symbolic. Oh, great production too.

Manosg, continue with Symbolic (more melodic), then Human (more brutal), and after that, ITP (more technical). I doubt you´ll like the first 3 albums, they are OSDM.
