Death & In Flames are not made to be compare.
I like both bands, in different ways.

In Flames is pretty mediocre.
The Painkiller cover in this was magnificent. Chuck had a good shriek which no one seemed to be aware of until that song.

Eh I like voice of the soul more for the electric guitar than the acoustic but how they work together is what really makes it amazing.

I have a soft spot for In Flames as they were my favorite band for a long time but I just think they're a decent melo-death band now. Albeit their instrumentals are pretty damn cool.

Instead we should talk about how much fun Spirit Crusher is to play on bass.

Scavenger of Human Sorrow, Spirit Crusher (coolest song name ever?) and the Painkiller cover are my favorites here.
But IMO, they're all top-notch songs.
