Ehh I remember not really diggin much on the second half of Cali except for the three I mentioned which rule but I'll give it another try. Yeah I'll go BTW first, in a good mood for chillin' and the three songs I already know are just the absolute balls.
I mean the Zephyr song could be my all-time favourite RHCP song, THAT fucking chorus man ugh it takes me into space.

Fru's backing vocals are so goddamn tight, although imagining Josh doing them pretty much makes me insta-wet but nevertheless.

Naked in the Rain and Apache Rose Peacock are a bit weak tbh, rest has all raped so far. You're probably the person to ask about this, what's the Chili Peppers song that goes "You're emotionaaaal/and you told me sooooo"? Had it stuck in my head for ages and can't place it.

p sure it's look around but not sure haven't jammed iwy in a long ass time

that and the shitty mixing (josh guitar and vox way too quiet)
might jam again tho

I heard there's a better mix out there somewhere but honestly it doesn't bother me that much. And yeah
like I said in the Cali thread I never liked Kiedis' voice all that much and I don't think he was any
worse than usual on IWY he just makes up for it so hard with all that energy and vitality.

yea mighta been a bit harsh i'll spin it again this week :]

@joshie Feel the love bro.
@ecnal BSSM is a bona-fide Sputnik classic, By the Way could be the chillest and most beautifully harmonied album ever and I'm With You is also a really cool melodically focused album. So, in short, everything I've heard (BSSM and onwards) is great.

all the ones with froosh
|
| |
I am interested in this "froosh" you speak of; tell me more.
Maybe I am just weird, but I am as big on the stuff I have heard that I know is on BSSM (breaking the girl, suck my kiss, under the bridge) as I am songs like Californication, Scar Tissue, Otherside, By the Way, Higher Ground, and Save the Population. The bulk of the stuff I have heard is on the Greatest Hits album. And Dani California; I really like that one too.
Didn't the guitarist leave sometime around I'm With You?

This guy and Pete Murray are the most well known Aussie singer/songwriters. Actually thinking of reviewing a Pete Murray album soon.
