You already said that on the first page lol.

And this is worse than Agony.

It's a shame most of the negative takers are the ones who run through here. Oh well

More I think about it, Mafia is probably their best effort. I still like this a good bit though.

After coming to like this album so much I went back and listened to the older stuff, which I am also liking. But now my earlier thoughts about the production of this album has changed a little bit. Its still not the best overall, but this one does sound a little bit more balanced between everything that is going on.

I'm still in shock that I like these guys so much. But hey, the ear likes what it wants to like I guess.

They really do need to find someone who can actually mix and master all that's going on properly. An official, label backed album released and the track transitions have clicks and pops

Otherwise, I love their work :D

they really are using the orchestra as a crutch to hide the fact they have absolutely no variation in their songwriting

The orchestra itself sounds so synthetic as well

Which is really sad because their first LP was actually pretty good. Then they seemed to run out of
songwriting ideas by the time it came to write another. :/

Honestly I liked Agony the most out of their LPs. Mafia is still the best thing they've done by a long shot, but I was a bit of a sucker for Agony. The whole overblown symphony is just too samey here, at least Agony had variety.
