I wanted SOOO badly to donate to their IndieGoGo, but by the time I got the extra money, the campaign was done.

Metalcore's my favorite genre (700 hours of it on my hard drive with no shame), so I'd be a bit of a fool to not be at least semi-knowledgeable on the subject.

I figured since a lot of bands were doing that, if I was gonna donate to any band, it had to be Misery Signals. and truth is I didnt really care for Controller, but I knew that some time has passed and that theyd write something great, especially since the metal scenes changed almost drastically since they released anything

Alive or Just Breathing is one of my favorite metalcore albums, Jesse Leach is such a phenomenal vocalist.

and The Fall of Ideals was pretty fuckin awesome. I wish All That Remains made more music like that.

another great metalcore band from Massachusetts was Diecast, I always hoped theyd write some more stuff

@Ferinus Yessir, I do.

@voice I personally find every album they've done to be fantastically executed. I love Of Malice and Controller almost equally.

I like Jesse era over Howard era. I think the writing was better all around. Horizon is the only PWD album I like.

And Killswitch was probably the first band I instantly loved.

I think anything that Jesse Leach has done is great. KsE, Seemless, The Empire Shall Fall, and Times of Grace

I agree in regard to Jesse over Howard. Even though The End of Heartache and As Daylight Dies were brilliant, they can't touch any of the three albums with Jesse.

End of Heartache and As Daylight Dies are amazing.

I personally love Disarm The Descent, and AOJB is a classic

I wish Howard would go back to Blood Has Been Shed instead of carrying on with this new band he's doing. I know he probably just wants a new start, but still. Jesse is perfect on the original self-titled Killswitch, Alive, and Disarm.

He has a little blues in him. I feel it the most in AoJB.

I figured that you would get it most from Times of Grace, if anything else.
