i'm just a guy who sits in his bedroom and just likes to jam out on guitar. i don't see why an axe fx wouldn't be tremendous fun in that capacity. why buy a giant amp and a shitload of effects pedals?

i can see why people don't like it when it comes to recording and playing live but i don't see it as this evil piece of machinery

Axe Fx definitely has it's benefits if you are constantly on tour or just a bedroom player but I will always enjoy the feel of tweaking the physical EQ knobs and researching what next pedal to buy. Plus just looking at an amp and seeing the tubes glow is a beautiful thing. And feeling the air push against you from a cranked amp? It cannot be beat.

Call me old fashioned.

I can't hear a single note of bass on machine or divergency. Can anyone else hear any bass?

Imaginary Condition has good ideas in it, this song is probably closest in quality to songs from The Discovery.

You guys wanna know why the production on this sucks?

"Mixed and Mastered by Joey Sturgis"

And I'm usually a semi-fan of Joey's stuff.

I honestly feel like this better than people are making it out to be. Machine and Divergency still suck but the rest of the album isn't bad.

If it weren't for Fashionably Late, this would be the worst album of the year for me.

The more modern sounding production has so much to hate as it has to love. Maybe even more
