Joke's on them, since Anthrax is ironically the only Big 4 band making quality music these days :P

the only thing worth asking about this album: is the fist coming out of the guy's mouth or going into
it?

A nice bit of metal to start Anthrax's career, though most of the songs here are predictably short and snappy. Then again should I have expected anything else? I guess not. 'Deathrider' and 'Metal thrashing mad' are ace, and the Alice Coopers cover is pretty well peformed.

This may not be the best thrash metal debut but I will give this a 3.5 for likeability at least they have went and done better albums for themselves and done ones that are much, much worse LOL.

Anthrax is a terrible, terrible band. Just looking at the cover you know this is going to suck.

The only album with vocalist Neil Turbin, he was actually a better fit than Glammadonna. I mean listen to that killer falsetto on Deathrider and Metal Thrashing Mad... Halfway through the album his vocals get tiresome and you realize he should form a power metal group with Glammadonna.

The music itself is painfully average and inconsistent. The lyrics of this album are just atrocious. Metal Thrashing Mad has some of the cheesiest lyrics of all time. Subjugator and Soldiers of Metal are terrible as well.

Lyrics aside there really isn't anything memorable. Metal Thrashing Mad has a passable riff combined with hilariously bad vocals.

Panic is the best song on the album no question. Good drum work by Charlie Benante, who I might add is the real only highlight of the album. The guitar solo is the best part about the song.

This album definitely has the NWOBHM vibe of bands like Maiden and Priest. It's not thrash at all you. Compare it to the other thrash debuts and this album pales in comparison.
