Review Summary: Short, sweet....heavy.

Faceless Rapport.

For the lucky few that are aware of the existence of Jason Suecof, you are aware of the musical talent that he possesses. He is literally a heavyweight producer/mixer in the metal world.

He has produced albums for some major bands such as The Contortionist, God Forbid, Trivium, Autust Burns Red, Chimaira and Whitechapel. For a full list run his name through Wikipedia.

Faceless Rapport is a band made up of Andols Herrick, previously the drummer for Chimaira, and Al Drucker pulling double duty contributing lead and bass guitar. There are some slight contributions from Eyal Levi from Daath, but full credit is awarded to Al Drucker.

What we have here is a three track Instrumental EP roughly 22 minutes in length. If you like me, enjoy well structured technical yet accessible metal music this could well be worth 22 minutes of your time.

Andols Herrick is a more than capable drummer. Anyone familiar with the earlier work of Chimaira will know what to expect here. I for one consider him massively underrated, he is somewhat of a perfectionist when it comes to structure and arrangement. On this EP he more than earns his money.

The guitar playing is a compliment to Andols playing style. Yes it's a modern approach to metal guitar playing with classic elements laced in. Both Herrick and Drucker link up perfectly and work hard tokeep the listener interested.

The lack of vocals is never an issue because there are enough twists and turns to keep the listener interested.

This collaboration is short and sweet. Production quality is to a very high quality and just enhances the talent being showcased.

I would compare this group to having a similar sound likened to Chimaira, Bleed The Sky, God Forbid and Lamb Of God.

Why did you put this review in the tracklist for this release? Are you massively retarded?

He is literally a heavyweight producer/mixer in the metal world.

Also, is this a fat joke? I feel like this is a fat joke
