I feel like they really didn't do anything new or jaw-dropping on this, it's just another good Amon Amarth album

Only song here that isn't standoutworthy is 9. The rest go hard. Much better than their last two albums.

I don't think this is better than Twilight of the Thunder God, but yeah, it's probably better than Surtur Rising.

Much better than their last two albums.

Wouldn't say that but they're still going strong with every new one. Think it's about equal to Surtur
Rising for me.

They're one of the bands that can actually pull that off.

I agree I would like to hear something unexpected from them. Still love them how they are though.

Like Hawks said, they actually do pull that off somehow.

One of my fav band.
the album is good but...

"they never change at all, yet no one seems to mind"

they would probably suck at experimentation, let them do what they know best.

Twlight is better. This is only a little bit better than Surtur.

Their last three releases were all solid, but left something to be desired. Every Amon Amarth album
adds 2 or 3 killer songs for their live setlist, so I can't be to hard on the topic.

don't even have to listen to this to know this will be a 2.5. super bland band. their particular brand of metal does nothing for me

The first three and last songs are great; the rest are OK.
