just re: the above discussion

though i would propose everyone is extraordinarily complicated, i think becoming rich and famous seems to dull most people in terms of complexity, or at least in a way that is relatable to the rest of us.

i think we can all agree the kanye is still a great talent, and has thus far done a good job of staying relevant.

kanye has always struck me as someone passionate enough about his music to make all of it be expressive

Maybe not so much here but on everything else

I hate to pick out something so minute but they play Black Skinhead on the radio all the time and the line "I keep it 300, like the Romans." bugs the shit out of me. 300 was the Spartans, from Sparta, which is in Greece, not Italy. I get that Romans rhymes with Trojans and that the Trojans were affiliated with the Greeks (plus a play on words for the condom brand) but maybe he could have just took some time and thought up a rhyme scheme that makes sense.

"this line is referring to the Roman Numeral version of 300 — “CCC” — which stands for “Cool, Calm, and Collected.” Kanye, according to the KTT Goons, keeps it that way. "

it's a word play for CCC, which is 300 in Roman numbers. CCC also means "Cool, Calm, and Collected".

I have no idea did he felt like playing with a shoehorned in movie reference that way tho

that is one convoluted reference, especially seeing as 99% of people are gonna think he just got the wrong civilization
