Integrity - Suicide Black Snake

The Ongoing Concept - Saloon

Shai Hulud - Reach Beyond The Sun

Seven Sisters Of Sleep - Opium Morals

Reign Supreme - Sky Burial (boring but better than this)

The Dillinger Escape Plan - One of Us Is the Killer

Norma Jean - Wrongdoers

only ones i agree with are shai hulud and dillinger. none of these other ones are better than this

imo

And I hate to say it, but I love the new Norma jean.

Exactly why I'm surprised because I'm not sure if you use to really dislke them or not. I'd also add Palm Reader and surprisingly the new Safety Fire album. The Safety Fire album is definitely not going to be well liked though but I found myself enjoying it a lot compared to the debut.

New Norma Jean rules definitely. Only heard two songs from the new TSF but they aren't metalcore so I'm not sure why you brought them up

They got elements but I see what you're saying. I wouldn't call them completely metalcore. I wish more people checked out Palm Reader. It's very good.

I thought they could have done better on this album in my opinion. I was really let down due to the album sounding so much like leveler (which isn't a bad album). It's still a good album, just it missed the mark for greatness. In other words, they still have a ways to go to beat out Constellations.

This sounds completely different than Leveler if you ask me.

Talking about best metalcore of the year, I might be bumping up Palm Reader more. The more I listen, the more I love it.
