I'm not going to argue with nobody's taste. I can only say that this album grows on me every time I listen to it. It's quite new disc and already becoming one of the most underestimated and misunderstood pieces of music in rock history. You say that only Kingmaker is memorable - to me it's ok, but far from the best songs on the album. "Dancing in the Rain", "The Blackest Crow", "Forget to Remember", "House Divided" are instant classics for me. My suggestion with any Megadeth disc is this: give it time and it should show it's true colors. If you still don't like than it's cool, but judging Megadeth on 1-2 listens doesn't give it justice

@jjtech
That may be true (that more listens are necessary), but when the first listen leaves you feeling utterly disgusted and irritated, there's little incentive to convince yourself to come back for me.

"i mean at least megadeth is still bothering to put shit out. metallica just put off their next album for another 2 years"
While I think Metallica are overrated as fuck, putting out albums more frequently doesnt make you a good artist with lots of ideas, only good Megadeth album post mid 90's has been Endgame. Many artists I know, like NIN, Front Line Assembly, Nick Cave or Tom Waits to name a few put out albums at a slower pace/slower then in their youth and have made some great albums by doing so.
Horrible album, First track made me think "wow why are people saying this is bad?" then i got to the next 3 and erased the record from my collection. Why even bother Dave? I doubt its for money he probly have enough to live comfortably for the rest of his life, is it just to show us he can make watered down metal and say its "his artistic progression?"

Disappointing album. Just a watered down same old same old Megadeth. Anyways, I can't wait for Dream Theater's s/t! *squeels*

Honestly, this album isn't THAT bad. It isn't nearly as good as old school balls to the wall Megadeth, but it isn't THAT bad. Is it??
