Haha I can never remember which one's Song for the Dead and which one's Song for the Deaf; is Dead the one that Mark Lanegan sings? But yeah, Mosquito Song is undoubtedly up there.

Haha ok, I remember one of them being a standout but I couldn't remember which one was which. Lanegan is just awesome man, In the Fade and This Lullaby are exceptional vocal performances.

I wish he'd done more on Lullabies to Paralyze, he suits the dark mood of that album so well but he only did like two songs. Same with Era Vulgaris, although the one song he was on was brilliant.

yeah, i couldn't tell which is a more fitting singer for QotSA if it wasn't for Homme's falsetto tbh. that thing is just better than anything that Lanegan has made imo

Yeah agreed but Lanegan kills the lower ranges. They should both sing imo, Josh should handle the highs and Lanegan should handle the lows and they'd both sing the mid-ranges. Would be splendiferous.

Those two songs and "No One Knows" are my top 3 from SFTD I think. "Song for the Deaf" is just so awesomely creepy, and that chorus is pure gold.

I like Songs for the Deaf better than Dead, but I really like God is in the Radio from that album. Better Living Through Chemistry is one of my all time fave QoTSA songs.
