so I just noticed that the ending of Honeycomb fades out but the beginning of Canary Yellow begins with the same choir-esque keys in the background the previous track ended with, and that makes me happy for some reason. Continuity yayay.

trying not to re-listen before the album drops but when I skimmed the endings last night I just realized how much atmosphere there is in the new tracks, so much more going on. Keyboards or synths filling up all the space, it feels so much bigger and warmer.

I'm just about as stoked for OCHL as I have been for any album over the past couple years, and the two released tracks have done nothing but make me more excited to listen to the whole thing.
