For the people that think this cd is bad, just listen to Decemberunderground

yeah, Sing the Sorrow is miles ahead of Decemberunderground.

I just found this again and put it on my ipod, I absolutely love this album. Next to The Art of Drowning as my favorite punk record

This album is good. I used to listnen to it a lot.

Still go back to it occassionally and it hasn't lost any of it's effect.

I think this was as much of a change as they should have made, and not gone as far as on Decemberunderground.

Although I still like that album, the older hardcore punk stuff appealed to me more.

Oh yeah, nice review as well.

Wow, it had been a while since I'd listen to this. I must say it is still awesome. It deserves to at least have a 4 overall rating.

They're sound was best at 'Sails...then they redefined it at 'Drowing...and then they completly turned around and went altogether to a new darker level

The first time I heard this was on Australia Day 2003 and I thought "what the heck is this??". In my head for years since...

Wonderful review of what could be my favorite album ever. It might sound a little ridiculous, but this album actually inspired an era for me (I write poetry) in which I wrote much in the style and mood of most of the album's content. The lyrics here read more like poetry than songs, as they very rarely rhyme and have a fluid pace, as opposed to the metered style in which most lyrics are written, yet they are still manipulated (very well) to fit the music. The themes are sobering and the mood is strangely appropriate. This album is a masterpiece worthy of recognition as such.

It's hard to say. People are always really divided on this band's output. Personally, I think this is their best album and one of the best albums of the 00's. But where to go from here is really up in the air because they change their sound somewhat significantly from their last album with each album. I would definitely skip the first few when they were 15 years old writing about cereal and mohawks. Try Art of Drowning if you liked this band's punkier side, Decemberunderground if you are up for a poppier form.

I haven't listened to this one since high school...

It was great for what it was, seriously. Definitely a grab at commercial success for the band, but with Flood producing... who could argue?

This album is straight outta compton yummy in the tummy...it also was one of my bridge albums to METAL (lol if you must)...i never really listened to any of their other stuff because i'm not big on punk/emo/whatever gay genre indicator is necessary, but this is a borderline masterpiece...

other than Deloused in the Comatorium, this album is now one of the only albums that could make me drop a tear.

Does anyone know if there are any misprinted albums? When i was ripping this into itunes the last track was called "...But Home IN Nowhere".

Such a great fucking album. Aside from Death of Seasons and Silver and Cold, this album is solid gold.

I wasn't too much a fan of The Art Of Drowning but this is pretty cool. The Leaving Song 2 sounds oddly familiar, like it was played in a nfl madden video game.
