if anything, this is the culmination of their gothic sound and not too far off from AOD which was already getting towards the poppy side

definitely not say the same about decemberundergound. you sound like one of those jaded afi fans but the
funny thing is you're targeting the wrong album in which they normally bash and feel totally betrayed by it.
