I watched django yesterday actually, first time since the cinemas and yea, I don't think the dialogue was nearly as good as his other movies but dude it's still Tarantino I honestly don't know how you can think its "fucking shit"

@Lloyd mostly because of the last 20 minutes or so, after Waltz's character died, where it just devolved into generic bullshit that Tarantino should know better than to waste time with

I actually agree with this completely, but I still love Reservoir Dogs immensely.

Lol Lloyd what does that even mean

At least it tried to be funny beforehand (although the humour was jarring with the rest of the movie considering the theme) and Waltz was amazing as usual but after he died (in the stupidest manner possible too) it was just one giant shootout orgy that had no value whatsoever, it doesn't suck because of his direction but because of his writing which has just devolved over time

so yeah sucks agreed k

so I'm right, you think the whole film is terrible because of the final 20 minute stretch

His writing hasn't devolved over time when IB was absolutely amazing

The rest of the film is average at best, I'd give it maybe a 2.5 by Sputnik ratings

But yes the last 20 minutes is fucking awful and considering it is a part of the movie, it drags down my rating of the movie to a 2 at best

Maybe he hadn't finalized his opinion of it UNTIL the last twenty minutes. I will say that Django is easily his most straight forward movie in terms of storytelling and that the climax panders to the audience, but the whole thing is done so damn well that I just don't care.
