Better keep it upstairs. Keep it upstairs, keep it upstairs for the grand finale.

I know this isn't the best National release, but sometimes my mood really makes me gravitate towards this one. Somehow it demands less of me and I can just sit back and occasionally mumble the lyrics "you should know me... better than that"

Sometimes when I listen to the other albums I wanna scream and dance and tap my feet like a madman, but this one makes me wanna sit in a comfy chair and sip coffee while pondering all sorts of stuff

Just heard the line "you can all just kiss off into the air" on Violent Femmes (debut) song - Kiss Off love the influence, haha

YES FINALLY SOMEONE GETS IT

Alligators last five songs and lit up are best but the rest are all worse than everything on boxer and HV

I prefer Alligator to Boxer cause of it's diversity, it's got everything - both a beautiful subtlety AND wicked, in-your-face, bliss songwriting

I put on an argyle sweater
and put on a smile

I don't know how to do this...

I'm so sorry for everything, i'm so sorry for everything x1000

Boxer > Alligator > HV = This.
Boxer and Alligator changes from time to time.
High Violet has stronger standouts than Trouble, but Trouble flows better as a whole, IMO.

Oh yes it is, without a doubt - those three are as solid a trio as you'll ever find
