Seriously. I bumped it to a 5. It's so cathartic it hurts.

I think I may too. From this album's sound to the vocals, everything hits like a ton of bricks.

Growing up with Pop-Punk, this album makes me feel like it kind of grew along with me.

It honestly helps that I usually despise this genre too. Stuff like Blink 182, The Story So Far and The Hotelier I just can't wrap my head around. Meanwhile, this blew me away on first listen. This is the most substantial and passionate pop punk release I've ever heard.

This is definitely the most mature, nuanced and probably honest pop punk album I've ever heard.

In terms of maturity, the only things that really come close would be Yellowcard and maybe Blink's self-titled.

Ehh I get nothing but annoyance from Blink 182's s/t. Yellowcard is more nostalgic to me than anything else. The Hotelier isn't awful like Blink 182 but it was just kinda whatever. I'm such a sucker from the one-two of heartfelt lyrics and powerful vocals so this takes it.

@Atari ok man added that to the list.

This album is a masterpiece and top of the genre for sure. I can tolerate most pop-punk, even the cheesy bull shit but this is just brilliant.

Mongi, did you like No Closer to Heaven? I think it's great. Not quite as good as this, but it's still a very good album.

Yea it was sweet. Nowhere near this but it got the job done. Hard to follow up something like this.

"I Don't Like Who I Was Then"

"Cigarettes & Saints"
