I can't even describe how good these guys are live. Saw them last night and I'm still in awe over how great the show was.

I'm seeing this band on Wednesday I'm excited especially since they are playing Passing Through a Screen Door, The Devil in my Blood Stream, and I Just Want to Sell Out My Funeral.

When they played Devil in My Bloodstream last night I literally got chills. And then they played I Just Want to Sell Out My Funeral for the encore, and holy shit. Best encore ever, and one of the best live performances I've ever seen.

Hey, I'm excited that they play "I Just Want to Sell Out My Funeral" at all. Hopefully they hit up Australia.

That song is fantastic also. I'm really glad they are playing a ton of songs from the Greatest Generation since Its my fave album by them, and its the easiest to sing along to imo.

A US tour w/o NY makes no sense to me.

I'm also excited for Real Friends and Modern Baseball.

Could care less about Citizen

And I haven't been able to get into Fireworks yet.

Man, I had never listened to Citizen before, but they were surprisingly good. Good enough that I'm downloading them right now, they had a real stage presence and were pretty damn good live. Fireworks was pretty meh. I missed Modern Baseball, but Real Friends were good.

I fell asleep both times I tried to listen to Citizen's album Youth, so maybe their live performance

will change my opinion on them. But I love Real Friends, and I really like Modern Baseball's second

album so I'm gonna make sure I get to the venue early to see their sets.

Do you know what songs Real Friends played live?

Ahh I really couldn't tell you, I've only listened to them here and there, so I'm not entirely familiar with the song titles. I'm kinda bummed I missed Modern Baseball, thought the show started at 7 but they played at 6:30.

But listening to Youth now, I think Citizen sounded a hundred times better live.

I guess they are just a good live band.

In Order of Excitement for Wednesday:

TWY>Real Friends> Modern Baseball>Citizen>Fireworks.

I mean, I AM digging Youth right now, but I definitely feel like I wouldn't like it as much if I hadn't seen them live first. I'd probably listen to it again after seeing them if I were you.

But overall, the show was crazy. They said it was the biggest crowd they had ever played in front of (1800+) and TWY just killed it. Everything from how good they sounded, to the setlist. It was an amazing setlist.
