Between this and that Jane Doe shit I don't understand how so many people on this site think that these albums with absolutely unlistenable vocalists are God's gift to earth.

I have 699 ratings, only 21 of them are 5s. 2 of those 5s are this & Jane Doe. I’m not sure we can be friends.
Jane’s vox did take a lot of getting used to, I’ll admit that... these however are very easy going in comparison.

I find the vocalist of this band to be the obnoxious, clean vocal equivalent to the guy from Converge. But the thing is, the music on Jane Doe was good enough that I could actually get through that album regardless. The music on this wasn't good enough for me to tolerate the vocalist after track four. It might be because I'm more into metalcore than post-hardcore, but still.

I think I just don't like the erratic style of the pre-Thrice/Thursday era post-hardcore vocalists. I checked out Glassjaw today and I thought that guy was pretty annoying too.

you should check out The Mars Volta, I hear the vocalist is pretty different from this (=
