Warpiant vs. Savages
I like the Jenny of Warpaint very much, but since she is married with Chris Cunningham now is a lil bit of a downer to me. Still she looks beautiful.
Emily is also stunning!
However i sometimes really am into this hard style of how the drum player of Savages plays. It might be a lil bit perv of me being into this up-and down drumming as if your life depends but it looks really hot.
They both have very much this attitude going of "Hey, youre not worth at taking a look at me". Savages even a bit more. Like playing it like "They dont care". Thats very sexy!
I have to excuse myself for the language but it is just quite a new era, musicnerds being able to pick a favorite female character in a rock band... it is like the power rangers or ninja turtles-choose-your-fav all over again.

It looks terrific indeed *_*
But...
my dream would go with Savages. They are just so strong humans it makes yourself as a man feel little uncomfortable and small. That was kind of like what my first love was also about :,-)
Also Savages are just better clothed. I saw em three times last year and dayummm... there was everything. Really nice feminine 60ies clothing style and often very interestingly boyish, very joy divisionish with their pants above their hips! They are more the girls where i feel something like that they go and grab what they want. Some men are very uncomfortable with not being the boss of a relationship... here i would definately be the little whimp for them!

I like chicks who do stuff yeah, when the girl is just lazy and you're the one bringing her to all the places and the one to make her discover all the things (when she wants to too) it's just boring

Here a pro-con list that i as a music lover who digs this music made to get people who are interested into the band. I love them. They were my favorite music act of 2013. Best live band, best song, best album on my list. Just by also being in love with Interpol and Warpaint i see this band way more intense as those two and would be happy if more realize so:
pro:
-animalistic
-raw
-sexual
-Rrrrriot!
-every musician is abolutely skilled on their instrument like a beast
-way beyond stripped-down direct feelings in the vein of Joy Division, way more direct than i.e. Bauhaus, Siouxsie that were more about writing stories as a text -> not a protagonist in the sense of ulysseus, savages is about one protagonist who is first-person view and not third-person view
-Sigmund Freudian worldview
- kind of conceptlike (silence yourself- be rebellious in not talking but be concious of things not happening the way you want them and realise that this is no good)
- naturalism-worldview (get your mask down! live your aggressions!)
- It makes you longing for breaking free, very revolutionary!
-they look hot!
-very well produced, like there are guitar-riffs where one thinks this is just as intense as the transmission-solo of Joy Division because it is produced in a very simmilar way
con:
-doesnt define the genre new and copies in the aesthetics of some greats. Though lets be honest who needs a neo-post-punk or a next-gen-mix-up-post-punk band like white lies... something that was once good is even in hundred years still good, right?
-looks at times too initiated, like Jehnny Beth has their own artistic name and they all wearing very feminine style. They probably dont look how they would look usually.

if you dont get the music yet dont go too far in the front... its for the joy division fans to get their Ian Curtis dancing skills right... there are often brutal mosh pits... th

joy division, bauhaus and siouxsie are all better bands but this is pretty refreshing i guess, despite its obvious drawings from those kinda artists

All good dude, 2weeks off starting tomorrow and the sun is finally out so it doesn't get much better hope it's the same with you.
A refreshing take on the classics, definitely interested I just hope it doesn't come across as try hard.

got anything cool planned?
weather's been sweet here for a week now, although i've been ill since tuesday. hopefully it buggers off soon so I can take some time off my (admittedly, very intense) university workload for a trip down to the Seine with bit of the old Sauvignon blanc

lol. Panama hat, polished brogues, picnic hamper. Such a chap!!
In contrast I'm heading up to Doncaster next weekend to get a dog. The missus has been bending my ear for 2yrs and I've relented.
