I could never get into Solar Fields for whatever reason. Need to try again after I've listened to the bucketload of ambient stuff I've downloaded recently

So annoying when you have so much to listen to and don't know where to start

The last 3 tracks on SF's new one are seriously 5/5, some of the best he's ever written holy shit can't get over it. Cop that one too Omair

Exactly! 50 albums I have to be in a certain mood to listen to? Won't even finish them by next year at this rate. Well 51 now cos I have to check Solar Fields again *sigh*

Then just download at your own pace then?

JT it's one of my favorites of the year. They're unreleased tracks from throughout his career, and I'm gobsmacked that he hasn't released some of those tracks for over a decade. They're just too good.

JS forget everything else and start with "The Fountain OST" by Clint Mansell, seriously, leave everything else if you're in the dark atmoshperic mood. Key will side with me on this one for sure.

I really love "Covered in Writing". This is very chill overall. Sometimes a bit to it's own detriment. But I really like it.

Beautiful album, I really didnt give this one enough love in light of his earlier material.

Slightly disjointed with certain interludes disrupting the ambient flow and a little too protracted but overall brilliant

Fucking love the surrealist/expressionist artwork too
