also, maybe something to fix: it's not Cooper's voice in the last song. Yo La Tengo vocalist Ira Kaplan provides guest vocals.

this really grows! its one of those albums where it doesnt have anything going for it until youve heard it enough times for it to become familiar. and then it all comes down to enjoying that comfortable familiarity. the first track is dull and uninteresting and not that pretty. but ive heard it so many times now as background and in attempts to like it and to relax, that i actually really enjoy the song for how comfortable it is.
