haven't heard them. but honestly this band isn't that bad just like a slightly weaker version of a day to remember and pretty fun sometimes.

Atari, I don't consider those guys pop punk because there's literally no punk in them. So I just call them really really bad pop rock.

"that was a different band"
well, most recently, it was transit (their new album got a 40% from a guy that usually gives out 80% and 90%). now that one was hilarious. such a fun shit storm.
|
| |
that's not funny cause transit rules

the new album didn't.
the same guy gave Listen and Forgive a 90% or higher. probably higher, it was like his aoty that year.
|
| |
it was a solid enough album if you're not anal and expecting every release to be an improvement over the last
|
| |
just because it was nowhere near as good as listen and forgive doesn't mean it "blows". still a decent album
|
| |
andcas you should listen to balance and composure again. separation is a 5

here's the review, 69 pages worth of arguments and babbling. I'll try to find some of the highlights sometime later.

it's both. you know how the band absolutely hates their critics, so they naturally hated what thomas did. of course, some of the band felt more strongly about it than the others, mainly two of them didn't like it. one of them started a small little twitter thing with something like #fuckthomasnassif. another added firewood to the flames, I'm pretty sure, but a few of the other members proceeded to apologize for the others' actions and whatnot. a lot of the fans were bickering as well. they also added fuel to the flames. kinda crazy. really funny.

This site is full of such elitist assholes who can't appreciate anything unless it has 3 fans or churns the same grungy, shitty lyrics. "Also, great review, Thomas. I know it's tough to write a bad review for an album you genuinely like. That comes across in your review. I think sometimes a band needs to be challenged by people who aren't fans... and a lot of people who are close to them won't give them an honest opinion.
You set the gauntlet. just a few of the arguments and whatnot.

can't help myself, but I absolutely LOVE it when people are like Pretty harsh for someone who as far as I know has never written a record or produced one?
