Watched them live yday, awesome performance. Only gripes would be them skipping Signals Of Anxiety when they played this whole album, and not playing Roots & Locusts as an encore like they did on the other places. Also, vocalist didn't seem to put much effort into the whole thing, was more interested in being edgy as fuck at some heavier parts

This is a bit of a weird album. 50% of it is ridiculously awesome and 50% of is boring, but its not like its divided by songs. Parts of each song are brilliantly written, but then transition over into something yawn inducing. I think they're at their best when they're focusing on the melodic/layered aspects and when they try to go for some of the bigger riffs they miss the mark since a some of them just overuse rhythmically building on a diminished or augmented interval and it's not that interesting.

Gave this a shot today...The music is good, but I really dont like the dudes vocals. Whether he's singing clean or not he never seems to fit the music to me.
