Jacob, I really enjoyed reading this. The Collective was a huge step forward for StS, and your review + the promising teasers have really heightened my expectations.

It's a Clash of the Pronouns! In the final sentence of your review, the second "us" should be changed to "we". It may seem awkward at first glance, but remove the word "fans" and you'll see what I mean. Thanks for the premier insight!

Also, I can't decide whether the person/entity who coined the term "adventure metal" should be shot or given a gold star. I'm really riding the fence on this.
