i love how this review reaches back into sputnik's history in a way i totally remember. so cool

i ignored this b/c of the band but if would have known we'd get another mezzali review!
yeah this reminds of nick greer and centaurs of pop and art and masterclasses

slipped in an edit for those who miss greer ;p

Very hit and miss album but I'm liking it more than I thought I would. Plenty of Antlers-esque moments
of shrill, high-pitched noisy droning that got on my nerves (whole songs, actually) but before I knew
it, I'd listened to the whole album over 4 times last night.

I am intrigued by this band. Which one is a better place to start this new one or Rats?
|

this one. but give self-titled a try first.

i sort of miss the days of untitled, 40 rods to the hogs head etc, but this is still very good. would probably suck if they were to write long ass instrumentals still. that gets boring after a while.

this album is pretty good. My only knock is that it lacks the balls that P-Rats had.

ahhh this is growing on me fast, I feel like it's more subtle than Patagonian but it's more cohesive
