It's much better than Volbeat imo. The vocals don't sound so cheesy, and the musicianship is just way better on this than on any Volbeat album. Not that it's difficult to achieve, but still.

I agree, he doesn't really sound like Elvis very much. But I can see where the comparison might come up, given the vocalist here is kind of nasal sounding.

If anything, the vocals are kind of annoying...

Of course he sounds like Elvis most of the time, whether you like it or not. His vocals are definitely an acquired taste. I can see that some people may not dig this LP very much because of that.
