Mixed reactions across the 'net, people freaking, people enjoying it. It's alright, what's bothering me is the mix other than that it's cool, trying to not be super reactionary. I can deffo' see why people see this as shit though.

EDIT: Lyrics are also bad.

Terrible production, terrible style, terrible lyrics, repetitive, boring. I could go on, but I won't. Why didn't jona just stay with them! All they had to do was work on the ambient parts.

Is this their 'radio-friendly' single though? Or is this a clear-cut indication of the entire album sonically? They can do softer songs well, Deathbeds, Hospital For Souls (mix of both). I just can't get over how shit the production is.

Well judging from this, it's a complete departure. There isn't a single quality that makes this sound like it came from bmth.

It definitely is, I think I'm alright with a song like this but if the album is near this, I think I'll pass. We'll have to wait and see, sorry you don't enjoy it Gonzo : (

Yeah I prefer Drown tbh. Both are pretty radical departures but Drown was done better in my opinion

It sounds like they're trying to rip off deftones.

I liked it and I think I am the only one on the internet who enjoyed the female parts, I didn't think it sounded like cheerleading at all.

EDIT: I listened to it twice on my phone, but now im hearing it for the first time on my lap top and now I can hear the cheerleading thing, eh I still don't mind.

EDIT2: Okay, the cheerleading thing is really stupid. just why. Other than that I like this though.

"oh no! don't compare anything to this, because it's BMTH!" get real. although i can't hear the Chevelle influnence, there is a definite Deftones influence on it. and anyone is ignorant to think that BMTH, or any other band for that matter, don't take influence in other types of music.

It still doesn't stop it completely blowing ass though.

except theres hardly any deftones influence in the song and definitely none on this album unless the barest addition of ambient effects is deftones influence
