Lowered my rating a bit but I still think this has some of the best songs the band has ever done.

This is one of my favorite 3.5s. It isn't really growing off of me, which is a good sign.

1st half of the album is solid, kinda drops off a bit in the 2nd half.

Both halves have their good songs. I never feel like there is a drop off when listening to this.

Gotta say Beyond The Flames is my favourite. Chorus is amazing.

Ill say the chorus' are catchy sure. But I mean Howard wrote all the truly great ones, and I cant see them being relevant much longer.

He was on The End of Heartache which is their second best imo. To me this band went down a slope in order of best albums to worst after AOJB. However, this is better than the 2009 album by a longshot.

So no one in this thread thinks Daylight is the best, I mean you guys are talking about catchy songwriting right. That one takes the cake in that regard.

Right this is better than the 2nd self titled, your saying something that everyone including myself have wrote on this site like a million times. But Daylight will still, and always be their best.
