TSSF crowds are wild, despite the band's own stage presence...which was actually a little better when I saw them in Melb than what I've seen on some of their performances on YouTube

But the sooner Parker ditches the whole Oasis vibe the better tbh

TSSF pit was as savage as a lot of metal gigs i've been to. Fun times.

All g man the recording quality is impeccably good on this too.
Though for whatever reason they cut The Glass out of this even though they played it at the gig? Otherwise it's sick.

Parker has toned down his vocals at live shows so much since the early days. He used to go so hard but l guess he doesn't wanna blow out his voice quickly.

Ye true, though he also sings complete phrases like he didn't used to as often. Also w the style he goes for, singing like that for basically an hour every night on tour, I'd have toned it down too.
But his pitch and a fair bit of grit is still absolutely present imo

I'm pissed they cut out The Glass, one of my favourite songs. The intro is amazing.

damn its crazy how not-long ago that was. he probably got so much backlash that he just stopped having stage presence altogether

^honestly wouldn't be surprised if that was part of the reason. He said in an interview that he hated being known as the pop-punk guy, and a lot of people saw him as a douchebag after that incident so possibly the whole Gallagher thing is like his way of being anti-that? eh
But it very likely helps him sing better at least, breath support and all

Someone on reddit just tried telling me that this album (or at the very least The Glass) should "technically" be categorized as post hardcore
Big eesh

Genre wars are the most pointless fucking thing in the world
true but assertions like "the glass is post-hardcore" or "this music is screamo because it has screaming" or "this song has like a dreamy quality to it so it's dream pop" are still super cringe cuz they reveal that the person saying them dunno shit about music. as you say, it's pointless to get into it with somebody over categorisations but "big eesh" is a pretty apt reaction

@joshie I think its fair to say genre wars are not 100% pointless when you're in a particular sub, say, r/posthardcore looking for post hardcore
