Excuse me, I was referring to the mastering on previous albums. Blast Tyrant seemed a bit loud and Robot Hive a bit subdued. This has got good volume, everything's audible, no muddy or watery bass.

ah, I honestly don't recall, haven't listened to them in a while. I actually prefer the louder and harder earlier stuff although those are great albums too. The mastering on this seems to be excellent though imho.

nice review.

the only thing i don't agree with most of you on is the mastering/mix

i got the vinyl and the flac

its not perfect

the drums/cymbals sound a bit compressed. and it gets a tiny bit messy at times.

im not talking super compressed brick wall stuff

but its def audible.

BT was mixed better imo.

Dunno about that, the drumming maaay sound a bit compressed i agree, but in BT had it's flaws as well. Overall i think this has the slightly better feel.
