self titled had the hooks, and the progression and layering of riffs. those songs had a lot of force and direction. kept evolving.
meir feels like we're left in a pot to stew with more chugging power chords. im listening, but i'm not "enjoying" it. its less melodic?

Good review, pos'd - definetly agree that some of the riffs could last a little longer.
Stand out track atm for me is Nekrokosmos - but maybe this could because i've listened to Trepan and Bruane Brenn to death already...

i guess i'll have to check this out. i spent a lot of time with the first one and found it underwhelming. a few good riffs here and there, but most songs fell short of the total package. fossegrim and mjod were good though from what i can remember
