It's their least metal album but unlike Mastodon, Baroness, and Kylesa, it doesn't hinder their songwriting. If you loved Void/Prehistoricisms I can see calling it their worst, but they definitely didn't pull a Heliocentric.

4th time through and the album is getting better. Vocals are def weak on some tracks plus nothing special about the guitar work. However there's some really good change of pace beats by the drummer and the bassist. Overall still better than most shit out put out so far this year.

The vocals are so much better this time around than on Valley of Smoke because the harse vocals on that album sound forced like they needed to add them in. I do miss the shouts but the music makes up for it. Probably gonna become my favorite album of theirs.
