Ah yes. I've checked them out. I've only given it one spin though. It sounded fine, but nothing special imo. It may grow on me. As for indie rock, I really dig the latest Menomena record from last year. It made my top5.
Digging: Kimbra - The Golden Echo
Album Rating: 4.0
My buddy loves Clutch, he is happy
Digging: Empire! Empire! (I Was a Lonely Estate) - You Will Eventually Be Forgotten
Ah yeah man, Moms is pretty sweet. "Pique" is one of my favorite songs. =]
I didn't enjoy the rest of the album as much, but it definitely sounded better than Menomena's debut.
Album Rating: 4.5
Rules face. Glad to see them get the energy back. Strange Cousins was a let down for me. Good album, but not close to what I've come to expect.
Digging: Mike Oldfield - Ommadawn
Stopped listening to these guys after Beale St. but this is really good. Glad to have them back.
Album Rating: 4.5
If any other band released Strange Cousins From the West, it would have scored far higher, but them being Clutch, my expectations were far too high for it. It wasn't bad by any means, it just wasn't on par with the four preceding releases.

Nah, it was just a bland album through and through.
Minotaur kicked ass
yeah probably no way in hell this is 4.7
Digging: Your Old Droog - Your Old Droog
you know what's more annoying than greg84 overrating (in our opinion) every decent hard rock album?
the users that go out of their way to post nothing but comments about how annoying it is
they were funny for a bit until it was literally the exact same bullshit on every thread, no matter what the content of the reivew or the context of the disucssion
he likes to give things a 4.5 that you don't particularly enjoy, better get all personally offended!!!
bro just go jam some Mew, new album soon
greg is just basically to sputnik what rolling stone is the reviewing arena
Digging: Natural Snow Buildings - The Night Country
Aids, the more we acknowledge the annoying comments, the more incoherent comments we'll receive in return. That's one thing I've learned through this kinda stuff, and you can see it happening here ;]
Digging: J Mascis - Tied to a Star
yeah i only clicked on this cause i thought it was that metalcore band that everyone likes I have no
idea why I'm still commenting
Did you get them confused with Botch?
I guess so
