Really Choccy? My fav on this. Of course I didn't have to hear it endlessly everywhere, but I'd say it's the one that works best on this

Laura Palmer and Albatross are mine. I dunno, the chorus and the chants annoy me now

Yeah, Laura Palmer is somewhere around the top 3 for me too. Although, don't know, Icarus is definitely ahead and I always liked Things We Lost.
Albatross is cool too, at that point it's already a bit difficult to listen to them though. The song just sound too much alike.

I never listen to the full thing. I think it has great moments but like you say, it's a bit samey samey after a while. This also hasn't aged too well, IMO.
Of The Night is pretty nice too though

Yeah, was very positively surprised at first, but I'm pretty sure it will end up with a 3 for me too. Not just that most of it sounds very similar, things like the title track or Overjoyed are quite cringeworthy.
Never listened to Of The Night. Same direction musically?

Of The Night is very hit or miss and it's a tad different to the majority of the things on this. I personally think it highlights all the relaxing and smooth qualities of Dan's voice

This was a surprisingly pleasant listen, although I can't remember much of it. Seem to recall 'Things We Lost In The Fire' was good.

Bastille is a Indie Pop, Indie Rock, and synthpop. They have written many albums. This album, bad blood is overall all right because it has its good parts and it's ok and then its bad songs of this album, of my opinion atleast.
The song ‘Pompeii’ reminds me of ‘chasing the sun’ by The Wanted, this is because in the part of ‘Pompeii’ where it says “does it almost feel like we’ve been here before” which means doesn’t seem like it used to before. This reminds me also of Automatic by Miranda Lambert.
I think a unique element from a song called ‘Daniel in the den’ by Bastille is it says “if one king dies they will crown another” Which means that even kings can be replaced.
I’d give this album an overall 4 because there is the good songs the ok song and the bad songs of the album. Whether or not you like OneRepublic, Imagine Dragons, Or even Lorde has some similar songs to bastille. I would give a better rating if the songs Overjoyed and Things we lost in the fire didn’t repeat every line of the song, but I would recommend this album. This was my opinion of the album Bad Blood by: Bastille.

I am really looking forward to see what else they have coming, because I thought this album was pretty catchy, well paced, and all around enjoyable.

And I thought it was vapid, meaningless indie pop catering to the teenage Starbucks fanbase, so let's hope for something better.
