The first and last songs of this album I find are absolutley mindblowing. They're just one of those songs that you can both totally relate to, and have the picture of somebody you know running through your head as the music flares on. Some of the guitar riffs do sound allot alike and the scratching reminds me of Incubus, so seeing as I am not a fan of rap, it kind of really turns me off.

Love this album, A Thousand Apologies is my favourite song on it, gotta love the slap bass at the end. I want to learn it, but I can't find a tab with it anywhere.

Still find this a good album although vocals are sometimes mehish. Really wish they had stayed like this instead going down the crapper with their next 2.

I seriously can't listen to this cd w/o feeling like crap afterwards. Shinobi starts off cool, then it just goes downhill from there. Never made it to the last 2-3 tracks and I highly doubt there would be any qualities to redeem this from a 2.5 from me.

I'm surprised noone gave this a 1.

I'd 3.5 or 4 this record. It's got a couple flops but mostly quality well-crafted songs. Although the drumming sucks and the vocals are a little weak here and there, they clearly show potential. I didn't care for Start Something and haven't heard Liberation Transmission, but this has some pretty sick breakdowns and beautiful harmonies in just the right spots.

Its a shame this band went downhill. This is a good album.

Curse.

This is a strong cd, not as tight as Start Something, and Ian's vocals are annoying in parts, but it is much better than Liberation Transmission.

I always forget how top heavy this cd is until I throw it in. A Thousand Apologies is the only song that I find really solid after Kobrakai. Really awesome first 4 tracks tho.

The vocals are usually annoying and sometimes awful.

Nah. Start Something is easily better than this.

This is a lot less refined but more interesting than Start Something. Start Something is just more consistent, although that album falters in the last half as well.

Awesome album, really shows off where they came from. Shinobi remains one of the best songs they've written, I reckon. Its a crowd favorite, therefore a set favorite. However, as you said- not two tracks are alike. I think we need to take the scratching with a pinch of salt, afterall I spose they were getting their image and had a couple hurdles to cross before they reappeared with the very impressive "Start Something"

Apart from a few songs, I found this pretty boring. Shinobi Vs Dragon Ninja is easily the best on here.

I only know 'Fake sound of progress' and 'Shinobi vs Dragon ninja', but you've made me curious about the album, so I'm just about to check it out^^ I like Start Something very much, so maybe...

This album blows my mind every time. Kobrakai crushes everything (it sounds so violent, so much agression in it, I still don't know how they did it) else on this album. Shinobi, Fake sound of progress, Still laughing and For sure are superb too I was surprised though, never knew Lostprophets had created such a great album before they released 'Start Something'. I'm a bit disappointed I haven't found out about it earlier than I did.

first 3 songs are great, possibly Kobrakai too, but the rest is incredibly dull and shitty. Really don't get the hype for this album and for the band either
