ulcerate for sure
i can truly understand holding this band in that regard, but for me they (intentionally) tread very close ground to the classics and therefore there isn't quite enough separating them as a really great and valuable band
but all that aside, this is TOP end dm writing

This band is pretty unique actually, even when looking back on the classics. ALL modern DM lack originality that's why 90% of modern DM sux.

Definitely agree with this statement. Sure, this band may have its obvious influences, but they are doing their own thing with those influences for sure imo. The vibe this band oozes, is rather unique and one I haven't really heard in any other DM band
