"Rush" was a cool debut from the band but is by no means a 5 at all in my opinion. It just feels too repetitive, not to mention that every one of the next six or seven albums they released toppled it.

No way this can ever be a 5 objectively. I like Rush. I LOVE Rush, if it's not my fav band it's at least in the top three. But if you compare this to their other works, as Necroscope stated, it's followers blow this out of the water. The song-writing isn't very inventive, the musicianship is great but not on par with i.e. Fly by Night; it's much more simple (Neil helping a lot here, challenging both Geddy and Alex extremely).
A rating between 3 and 4 is to be given, IMO.

I actually agree with NightProwler here, there is no way at all that this can be a 5. Every album they put out (near enough) tops this except "Power Windows" and "Roll the Bones", both of which I feel are near useless.
