This is a terrific cd, and a terrific review. I think that the Offspring is my only fanboy obsession, if I have one. I've enjoyed their old stuff and their new stuff.

The Offspring have really lost their touch, but this is one of their finer moments. The perfect precursor to Smash, but I'm not sure which I like better. Ixnay on the Hombre was a fine CD as well. Ignition, Smash & Ignition form the "Holy Trinity" of Offspring CD's.

This is my second favorite Offspring album tied with Americana. Smash being my favorite. The album might seem repetitive at first glance but nearly every song is awesome. The only two songs that I feel are just good but not awesome are the last two. Other than that this album is top notch. Kick Him When He's Down is one of their best songs and LAPD, Burn it up, No Hero, even Dirty Magic... Yeah, excellent.

This is prolly my favorite Offspring album....I really like Smash, but those silly "intermissions" and random commentaries I always found kinda fucked up the flow....for me anyways.
